116th SFO Congress

Description:

The Congress of the French Ophthalmology Society, SFO, will take place at the Palais des Congres, 2 place de la Porte Maillot, Paris, France, 8-11 May 2010.

The topic of the European Symposium is Progresses in research and care for lifelong good vision. It will be an opportunity for European associations to address the administrative supervision and reiterate that lifelong good vision is a medical fight. Invited delegates from foreign societies are coming this year from Chile, Syria and for the first time, from a US town, Chicago in 2010, other cities in the future.

Invited lectures are enzymatic vitreolysis by Marc de Smet (Lausanne, Switzerland), Femtoseconds and new corneal grafts by Rudy Nuijts (Maastricht, the Nederlands) and Adult strabismus: the Importance of surgical correction by Nathalie Azar (Chicago, USA). French, European and US CME Credits are given for Teaching and News sessions and Round Tables in free access. Surgical skills transfer labs, operating throughout the congress, and interactive workshops in a large number, also give credits.
